ABOUT US
In 1870, a few years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, ZION HILL BAPTIST CHURCH grew out of a prayer meeting in the home of Sister Kizzie and Brother Abraham Robinson. Now, almost 150 years later, Zion Hill Baptist Church has become a pillar in our community. Join us as we continue to grow in faith, hope, and love.
OUR VISION
That this family of believers will grow in wisdom, in spirit
and in the nurture and fellowship of the Lord, Jesus Christ,
our Savior. That the church will follow the Lord Jesus in
deed and in purpose through virtuous study; through faith,
exercising a posture of fervent and unceasing prayer;
in focused worship; and through demonstrated
commitment to fulfill God's Holy mission.
As a church body we are dedicated to strive; going
onward and upward in God’s kingdom building enterprise.
That as a church of Christian believers, through the Lord
Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, we offer
encouragement, love, guidance and support for one
another; as we offer the same encouragement, love,
guidance and support to others outside the walls of this
church.
That we will provide healing for the sick, clothes for the
naked, shelter for the homeless, and be a voice for the
voiceless everywhere. That we will live to Biblical
principles, practicing a faith that knows no bounds; that
In Jesus Christ, our Savior, "I can do everything, through
him who gives me strength.” (NIV Phlps. 4:13 )
WHAT WE DO
An inclusive and nurturing family of believers who are growing in wisdom, in spirit, and fellowship of the Lord, Jesus Christ, our Savior.
